Today I wore Clothes!!!!!

Real Clothes . . .

Today was my first day wearing real clothes.

Since December 3rd I have evolved as such:

Week 1-2 surgical patches, tape, compression wrap and a robe

Week 3-4 Robe most of the time, compression suit, and t-shirt

Week 4-7 Compression suit, LOOSE fitting shorts, and a tech loose fitting t-shirt

TODAY . . .

A little update on the infection and swelling;  I am kicking the infection and feeling a bit better.  The infection SUCKS, but it is looking more palatable everyday.

I have been on the computrainer everyday increasing my time on it by 5 minutes a day.  I am up to 45 minutes a day (OK, I cheated and added more than 5 minutes, but don’t tell my wife!)

Back in the office tomorrow.  I have been working from home which has allowed me to get a lot done.  It is amazing how much you can get done without distractions.  I think I will set time like this onto my calendar in the future.

Until later . . . BE BRILLIANT!

Why yes . . .Do you like? We figured since we could walk around nekkid in our house now that all of our guest have moved on to bigger and better things, we would put up a solid door.

Congrats on all your accomplishments!

I do soooo wish I could do the half iron this year, but it's my hubby's yr to do the distance. I'm hoping to reach that goal next year!

Just found your blog and cannot wait to dig into it more. At my highest I weighed 306.2 and am down 26.8 pounds. My goal is to lose 130 pounds. I did my did my first sprint tri in 2006. Now I have a coach and my ultimate goal is to do an Ironman before I'm 40. I cannot wait to go back in your blog and read about your journey.

I like that you did triathlons as part of your journey. I always encourage people not to wait until they lose the weight to be active. I may be close to the last one finishing a race, but I'm out there and I'm doing it. It seems like we have that in common.

Just curious how you lost all the weight?

Great job.
I look forward to getting to know you.

PS. I have a friend Duane whose blog is www.couchpotato-to-ironman.blogspot.com He's lost almost 100 pounds and still has a way to go, but is training for his first Ironman this year.
