I have been on a 1200 calorie, VERY low-fat eating plan for bout 3 weeks now. There is a big difference between 1200 calories and somewhere near 4500 calories, which is what my nutritionist and I feel is about what I was taking in daily prior to this eating plan.
It is difficult, but I am feeling results.
I am also NOT rewarding myself with “reward meals” as I used to. This is when I would go a whole week eating in a certain manner, then on a Sunday have a “good” meal, usually meaning fattening, fried, food. No more.
I began running again and this morning I rode my stationary at 4:45 am for 30 minutes at a moderate level then ran 45 minutes, about 3.5 miles on a course in the neighborhood.
I felt GREAT.
We will see how I feel this weekend at my triathlon in New Iberia.
